Azienda Agricola Cordella, run by Maddalena Cordella, was born in 1998 from the sale by her father of the much larger family business.
Descending from the southeastern part of the hill of Montalcino, heading toward the village of Torrenieri, lies nestled on a soft hillside the beautiful Meleto estate, nestled among green vineyards, sinuous and most photographed Tuscan hills and the cypress trees symbolic of the Val d’Orcia natural and artistic park.
The company since 1998 began its business by selling the grapes grown in the estate vineyards, but in 2006 Maddalena and her father, Orlando, decided to make their own wine from the grapes produced. Then in 2010 comes the new and very modern winery place of worship of Brunello Cordella.
The grapes made into wine are the fruit of the 9 hectares of the well-kept vineyards, of precise analysis, of modern agronomic practices, of the careful work of the winemakers, as well as of her father’s experience.
