Origins date back to the beginning of the 18th century for the Cantoni family-owned farm: a stone inserted in the base of the house bears the year of its foundation, 1707, testifying to the ancient agricultural vocation of the site.

 

Giuseppe Cantoni, after working around the world in industry, decided to return to the countryside. Today the farm is managed by his sons Nicola, also president of the Terre di Pisa Consortium, who takes care of the agronomic side, and Matteo, who follows the commercial sector instead. Interesting work has been done on grape varieties that have almost disappeared, such as sanforte and colombana.
