- La Cantina del Vermentino di Monti is a symbol of Sardinia's rich viticultural heritage, established in 1956 by twenty-two visionary winegrowers with the goal of ensuring the proper handling of the harvests. The name pays homage to the noblest grape variety of Gallura, Vermentino. Today, the winery boasts 350 members who cultivate 500 hectares of vineyards across Monti, Telti, Olbia, and Loiri Porto San Paolo. The estate produces elegant, refined, and original wines from carefully selected grapes. The winery, nestled among three hectares of oak trees, oversees the entire production process, starting from delicate pressing and de-stemming to fermentation in temperature-controlled environments. The barrel cellar, marked by an arched portal with clear Aragonese origins—an emblematic logo of the winery—welcomes visitors interested in learning about the aging process in traditional oak casks or tonneaux ranging from 2500 to 500 liters, as well as bottle maturation of premium wines.
