Re Manfredi Winery was founded in 1998 a few kilometers from Venosa in Basilicata. An elegant and welcoming masseria towers at the center of the property, which covers more than 100 hectares of vineyards.
The extinct volcano, Vulture , dominates the plateau with its 1,300-meter height. Its lava has mixed with soil rich in clay , calcium, nitrogen and tuff, creating a unique terroir in the Mediterranean wine scene. The component of volcanic origin gives the wines a particular minerality and flavor .
